Description:
The Brain Enhancement Dancing (BED) program is a Ballroom Dance program designed by the instructor specifically to decrease the risk of dementia by up to 76%. Studies show ballroom dancing reduces the risk of dementia far better than any other activity. For people who are already experiencing the effects of dementia, researchers have seen an improvement in memory in seniors. Ballroom dancing is also being used to benefit those with Parkinson's disease. These classes focus on rapid fire decision making, concentration, memory, multitasking movements, strengthening balance and enhancing physical stamina, with all the additional benefits of dancing while enjoying a fun social activity. Partners or Singles ar encouraged to sign up.
