Safe Sitter -- Babysitting Class
Safe Sitter is the only national nonprofit training program exclusively devoted to preparing pre-teens and young teens to be safe in unsupervised settings, whether home alone, sibling sitting or babysitting.
The Safe Sitter program covers the following areas: safety skills, childcare skills, basic first aid and rescue skills, and life & business skills. The course is instructor-led and interactive, with hands-on demonstrations and skills practice using soft bodied dolls and mannequins.
Students will receive a Safe Sitter bag equipped with a student handbook, completion card, LED flashlight, bandage dispenser and an important information notepad to bring to their next babysitting job.
Class will be held in room #27 at the Paul Bunyan Elementary on May 6, 8 and 9 from 3:30 PM- 5:10 PM.
